6/1/07 Update:

A few important reminders about the HS Marathon Relay!

Gordys Pizza and Pasta:  4-6pm Saturday.  Team Members are encouraged to meet at Gordys for dinner.  This is not a planned event, but in the past teams having enjoyed getting together here to eat and meet other teams.  Reservations are suggested:  (360) 457-5056, Gordys, 1123 E 1st St, Port Angeles, Washington 98362

Bibs and Timing ChipAll team members must wear racing bib during the event.  The last runner (#5) of your team needs to wear the last bib number in your series (if your team has bibs 5001 – 5005, runner #5 wears bib 5005).  Only the last runner (#5) will wear the timing chip – this is important!  Your team time will not be calculated unless the last runner crosses the finish line mat with a timing chip.

Changes to your Team:  It is okay to change/switch team members provided they have a signed waiver to us before the race.  Team Captains are responsible for making sure that any new member to their original team completes a waiver and that it is signed by a parent if the athlete is under 18 years of age.  Plan ahead on this so that you are not chasing down parents for signatures, etc. at the last minute.  Forms can be downloaded from this page.

Driving Directions: The driving directions can be found above  Please review the directions with your team driver.

Awards/Finish Venue:  The HS Marathon Relay Awards will be just after the marathon awards at the City Pier Pavilion.  All team members will receive a race medal at this time.  Results will be announced and awards will be given to the top three teams in each division.  Certificates for each team member are enclosed in the team packet (Please note that certificates were printed after receiving entries and any changes made to the team are not reflected.  Blank certificates are enclosed for late entries/changes).
